Understanding Same-Sex Attraction
Providing Friendship, Parental or Pastoral Guidance
How would you respond if your child or student or friend says, “I think I am gay”?
Same-Sex Attraction (SSA) is often poorly understood, leading to responses which may be inconsistent with our faith beliefs or which are inappropriate and could damage the relationship.
This short symposium will promote greater awareness and clearer understanding of SSA, so that more positive relationships can be built. Participants will find out what research currently tells us about SSA, and hear from professionals who have experience working in this area.
